SHIPPING CHARGES - My Opinions Shipping should be only the cost of mailing the package to the buyer and any associated costs: Postage, Cost of Packaging, Gas to post office, and nothing more. Profit should be minimal on shipping charges, basically just rounding up to the next .10 or .25. Using the U.S. Postal Service's calculator at http://ircalc.usps.gov/ one can easily give a buyer and close estimate of his charges without having a flat rate policy that may not accurately apply. To minimalize costs I reuse packaging and don't charge travel costs as I live within a mile of the post office. In my opinion if someone wants more than $2 shipping, especially for a single coin or small group of lightweight items then they're just ripping you off. That, in my opinion, is nothing but immoral greed.
